One of the best birthday gifts I could ever give my mom. 💛

It took me 28 years bago ako nagkaroon ng insurance.

Pero para sa mama ko, it took 64 years bago siya nagkaroon ng sarili niyang insurance plan.

At ngayong cine-celebrate namin ang 65th birthday niya, isa ito sa mga regalong pinakamahalaga para sa akin.

Hindi man natin kayang pigilan ang pagtanda o ang mga hindi inaasahang pangyayari, pero kaya nating maghanda at magbigay ng proteksyon habang may pagkakataon pa.

Minsan naiisip mo rin ba kung bakit parang ang bilis na lang mawala ng sweldo?

Habang tumatanda tayo, napapansin natin na nag-iiba na rin ang mga bagay na gusto nating iregalo sa sarili natin. 💛

Dati, mas excited tayo sa bagong gadget, bagong shoes, o travel.

Pero habang mas naiintindihan natin ang halaga ng pinaghihirapan natin, mas nagiging importante ang security at protection.

Kaya natuwa ako sa client ko na piniling kunin ang insurance niya bago ang birthday niya. Hindi lang siya bumili ng policy—pinili niyang regaluhan ang sarili niya ng peace of mind.

May nagtanong sa Threads kung okay pa bang kumuha ng insurance kapag nasa 40s ka na.

Ang sagot ko?

Mas okay kumuha habang nasa 40s ka kaysa hintayin mo pang umabot ng 50s.

Bakit?

✨ Mas mataas na ang premium habang tumatanda.
✨ Mas malaki ang posibilidad na may existing medical condition o maintenance na, kaya puwedeng mas mahirap ma-approve.
✨ Mas kaunti na rin ang plan options na available.
✨ At mas malapit ka na sa retirement, kaya mas mahalagang maprotektahan ang ipon at pamilya mo.

Minsan, masyado tayong nakatingin sa oras na nawala kaysa sa pagkakataong meron tayo ngayon.

Kung hindi ka nakakuha ng insurance noong 20s mo, okay lang. Kumuha sa 30s.

Kung hindi rin nangyari sa 30s, gawin mo na sa 40s.

The best time may have passed, but the next best time is today. 🧡

This July , I’m celebrating my 2nd year as a Sun Life insurance advisor. 💛

Looking back, sobrang dami kong dapat ipagpasalamat. Grateful ako sa lahat ng clients na nagtiwala sa akin at sa mga taong willing makinig at matuto tungkol sa financial planning—kahit hindi pa sila ready kumuha ng insurance. Every conversation matters.

Thank you rin sa lahat ng responsible clients na patuloy na inuuna ang pagbabayad ng kanilang insurance. Hindi lang kayo nagbabayad ng policy, kundi pinoprotektahan ninyo ang future ng sarili ninyo at ng mga mahal ninyo sa buhay.
