last month, policy anniversary na ng sun maxilink prime ko. ito po yung insurance linked with investment (vul).
dahil one year na, i checked my policy contract if yung projected policy fund value na nakalagay sa contract ko ay same ba or kung hindi naman ay malapit sa katotohanan ng tinubo ng investment ko.
i was surprised with the results:
ang nakalagay sa contract projected policy fund value (4%) ay php7,137.00 at ang sa real time naman ay php7,130.13
and this is for one year alone, this is payable only for 10 years but the coverage is 88 years.
if my investment will grow same as indicated on the contract, 9.4M ang tutubuin ng investment! malaking tulong na din for my retirement plan.
exciting di ba?!?
aside from this sun maxilink prime, meron din akong dalawa pang insurance policy:
sun lifeassure for critical illness/life protection (500k coverage)
sun safer life for life protection or pwede ko ding convert sa vul (2M coverage)
i am planning to get another one, yung sun smarter life elite 10 kasi maraming benefits at perfect for retirement plan talaga. i don't wanna work for life kaya ngayon pa lang i am preparing for my retirement na.
getting insured is addictive, and for me ito yung addiction in a good way.
you can prepare for your future and at the same time for your loved ones:

nung kinuha ko itong policy 39 years old na ako. i wish when i was younger may nag approach na sa akin about this para at a very young age nasimulan ko na yung financial freedom journey ko.

others may view insurance as tapon pera but in reality it is your protection, your plan b.. in times of uncertainty insurance ang sasalo sau
