One of the reasons why I became more serious about insurance and critical illness protection…
is because I’ve seen how one diagnosis can quietly change an entire family’s life. 🤍
Hindi lang pala siya tungkol sa hospital.
Hindi lang tests.
Hindi lang checkups.
Hindi lang HMO approval.
It’s what happens after.
Yung tahimik na moments where families suddenly start computing everything.
“Kasya pa kaya savings?”
“Makakawork pa kaya?”
“Paano yung bills next month?”
“Paano kung lumaki pa expenses?”
“Paano yung pamilya?”
And honestly… that reality hit me hard.
Because growing up, I also saw how illness can emotionally, mentally, and financially affect a family.
That’s why when I started working and understanding financial planning more deeply, na-realize ko:
HMO is important. Super helpful siya.
But sometimes, it’s not enough for the life happening outside the hospital too.
Because critical illness affects more than health.
It affects:
income, routines, responsibilities, family plans, peace of mind, and even future dreams.
And the painful truth is…
Most people only realize the importance of protection kapag nandun na sila sa situation.
When emotions are high.
When expenses are growing.
When choices become limited.
That’s also why I do what I do now. 😊
Not to scare people.
Not to sound salesy.
But because I genuinely don’t want families to feel alone and financially overwhelmed during one of the hardest seasons of their lives.
Because while life still feels normal today…
while healthy pa…
while kaya pa magprepare…
you still have choices.
I truly hope no one you love ever experiences the weight of sitting quietly at the table,
trying to figure out how to survive financially after one unexpected diagnosis. 🤍
Because honestly… that kind of burden changes everything. Ang hirap 😭
