Today, lumabas ako to assist a client for her medical requirements sa pag-apply ng insurance.

Habang nasa terminal, napansin ng driver yung FWD shirt ko at nagtanong siya about insurance. Sabi niya, karamihan daw ng pinsan niyang OFW meron na… siya dati OFW din, pero ngayon hindi na sya nakabalik.

Then he said something na tumatak talaga sakin:

“Dapat pala kumuha na ako noon habang malakas pa ako kumita at healthy pa…”

Ngayon kasi, may pre-existing conditions na siya at mas mabigat na ang premiums dahil sa age.

Ang sakit lang isipin na ang daming Pilipino, saka lang narerealize yung value ng insurance kapag huli na, kapag nagkasakit na or tumatanda na.

So let this be your sign.
