The Bureau of Internal Revenue has extended the deadline for the submission or re-submission of 2025 Audited Financial Statements and other attachments through eAFS facility until May 25, 2026 without the imposition of penalties.

This extension applies to taxpayers who were unable to submit through eAFS due to system-related issues, as well as those who submitted via email but did not receive an official acknowledgment receipt.

Please note that this extension applies only to the submission of AFS and other attachments through eAFS and does not extend the deadline for filing or payment of the Annual Income Tax Return.

⏳ Hey Taxpayer! Deadline is approaching!

Don’t miss the May 15, 2026 deadline for filing and payment of your Annual Income Tax Return (AITR).

Following the extension granted in RMC No. 30-2026, the filing of the 2025 AITR, payment of the corresponding taxes and submission of the required attachments are extended until May 15, 2026.

Scenario 1: If the Taxpayer filed their return on or before April 15, 2026, the attachments must be submitted through eAFS on or before May 15, 2026.

Scenario 2: If the Taxpayer filed their return on April 16, 2026, the attachments must be submitted through eAFS on or before May 15, 2026.

Scenario 3: If the Taxpayer filed their return on the extended deadline of May 15, 2026, the attachments must also be submitted through eAFS on May 15, 2026.
