Programs and Services A. PURO (Produce UR Own- Organic) • Research and development, manufacturing and installation of appropriate technologies to support organic farming activities of the partners and beneficiaries. • Promotion and marketing of farmers organic products under fair trade conditions. • Installation and transfer of technologies. • Establishment of community-based organic fertilizer production. • Community-based seed banking, collection and propagation of indigenous varieties of rice and vegetable and other crops. B. Skills Enhancement and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) Program • Skills enhancement and entrepreneurship development program that cater the needs of out-of- school youth, individuals and community organizations in the fabrication of support facilities and equipment and other appropriate technologies and develop them into an entrepreneur by providing additional capital and support facilities. • Capacity building activities to enhance management skills in the operations of their enterprises. • Support and recognition of local inventors. This is to support science and technology innovations wherein products developed and manufactured will directly benefit the marginalized sector. C. Ecological Management Program (EMP) • Waste management in partnership with the LGUs, Communities, Private Sector, Academe and NGOs. • Rainforestation (collection and propagation of fruit and endemic trees species and establishment of rainforestation models in partnership with the academic institutions, private sector and communities). • Biodiversity Protection and Conservation D. Our technologies are designed for pro-environment. Our eco-friendly technologies are made possible with the collaborative effort of Negrosanon’s Agriculturist/

Biogas
> Easily controlled source of renewable energy that utilizes natural
wastes (livestock manure, crop residue, farm wastes) to produce
electricity (lightning), fuel (cooking), organic fertilizer, natural pests
control.
> Promotes renewal energy technology, increases agricultural yields,
reduction of indoor pollution, reduces the use of chemical fertilizers
and pesticides, upholds ecological protection and conservation,
saves money.
Portagas
> A type of household biogas made of plastic drums and uses chicken
manure and rice straw to produce gas. Very economical, ideal to
areas with poultry and raising livestock.
R.U. Shredder
> Versatile machine designed for a number of purposes. It is most
efficient in the reduction of solid waste.
> It is a user-friendly machine that accelerates and hastens the
decomposition process by reducing the garbage and other
biodegradable materials converted into compost and produced
premium organic fertilizer.
> A big contribution of minimizing household and farm wastes

Hydraulic Ram Pump
> An automatic pumping device which utilize a small fall of water to
lift a fraction of the supply flow to a much greater height.
> Water can be pumped and delivered closer to the communities
without using a fossil fuel, driven or electric motor.

Windmill
> A windmill is a machine that is powered by the wind to produce
energy.
> Multi-bladed windmill with a height of 20 feet, produce 12 gallons of
water per minute. It provides water for irrigation to at least 5
hectares of rice/vegetable production area.
> The water-pumping windmill is durable and easy to maintain, a
good source of sustainability in water supply.
Essential Oil Distiller
> It is designed to extract oils from plants that carry a scent.
Fabricated with a food grade materials and high quality laboratory
glass and bricks.
> It facilitates extraction of essential oils through Distillation Method
with a capacity of 250 kgs. (lemon grass leaves) per load ranging
to 2-3 hrs. that extracts 1-1.3 of oil per load.
> It is made with the idea of supporting small farmers to produce high
value organic products like the lemon grass.
Vermiculture and Vermicomposting
> VERMICULTURE is literally “the culture of earthworms”.
> A process where worms (African Night Crawler) devour food scraps
and other household waste, farm residues, animal manures into a
nutrient-rich black soil. This rich soil (worm castings) is the product
of the worm’s digestion.
> VERMICOMPOSTING is the process of speeding up decomposition in
biodegradable matter into organic fertilizer via the action of worms
> Vermicast is billed as the best plant fertilizer available.
> This method is simple, effective, convenient and noiseless.
> It saves water, energy, landfills and helps rebuild the soil.
Organic Rice Production
> Avoid the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and growth
regulators.
> Rely on crop rotations, crop residues, animal manures, legumes,
green manures, off-farm wastes, mechanical cultivation, mineral
bearing rocks, and biological pest control to maintain soil health,
supply plant nutrients, and minimize insects, weeds, and other
pests.

Greenhouse

Nature Farming Technology System on Swine Fattening and Breeding
(Korean Technology)
> No-Wash-Pigs Technology, an economical and easy way to manage
piggeries.
> Pigs raised according to organic methods where flooring is not
concrete, instead a combination of sawdust/cocodust, salt and
sand are used as beddings. A comfortable place for the pigs since
they love to dig and they like mud holes.
> This technology is simple, not labor intensive, no smell, less water
consumption and can be adopted by households who want to raise
pigs in small-scale.
> Hog raising has the potential for high profits in a relatively short
period of time.
Charcoal Production
> Community-based production of alternative fuel for cooking (less

> Free-range system of management is the method used in raising
native chickens.
> Native chickens are an integral part of the farming system of the
