The Angeles City Government informs the public that the Office of the President has formally transmitted Proclamation No. 1293, signed on June 10, 2026, officially declaring Monday, June 15, 2026, as a Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Angeles.
The proclamation commemorates the 35th Anniversary of the Mt. Pinatubo Eruption, a significant event in the history of Angeles City and the Province of Pampanga that demonstrated the resilience, unity, and determination of the Kapampangan people in overcoming adversity.
Angeles LGU encourages all AngeleΓ±os to take part in activities commemorating this important occasion and to reflect on the lessons, strength, and spirit of community that emerged from one of the most challenging chapters in our history.
