In the midst of the thick jungles of Lumi, West Wape LLG in Sandaun Province, lie more than 20 primary schools, elementary schools, and aid posts that have remained disconnected by road for decades. The only way to reach these remote communities is by walking along rugged bush tracks through steep mountains and dense rainforest.
A young female officer from Lesfordlati Finance Limited โ Vanimo Branch, serving as a Loan, Sales & Marketing Officer, has embarked on a journey that few would dare to undertake.
Determined to reach government employees serving in these isolated communities, she walked for 12 hours across challenging terrain to arrive at her destination. Her mission was not only to introduce Lesfordlati Finance's products and services but also to ensure that teachers, health workers, and other public servants in remote areas have access to financial services that are often available only in urban centres.
Her journey is a testament to courage, resilience, and commitment. It demonstrates that true service means reaching people wherever they are, regardless of the obstacles. Through dedication and perseverance, she is helping bridge the gap between financial services and some of the most isolated communities in Papua New Guinea.
Every step through the jungle reflects a commitment to serving the people of Sandaun Province and ensuring that no government employee is left behind simply because of where they serve.
