As a responsible financial business, we always make sure to inform our clients about our terms and conditions before engaging in any business activity.

We are a newly established business registered under the Investment Promotion Authority (IPA), and as such, we are required to operate under specific policies, terms, and conditions that govern our business operations. Additionally, we pay business taxes to the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC), and these taxes are reflected in our interest rates.

Our Services and loan eligibility

Our services are available in Port Moresby and other parts of the country and to be eligible for a loan, you need to be recommended by an existing client, family, friend, or someone who is known to the owner.

We offer a range of services, including lending, deposits and withdrawal, SME loans, and consultation services. Our lending rates vary from K50 to K500 at 35% and K501 to K1000 at 40%. Deposits and withdrawals start at K50 up to K350 at 10%. SME loans range from K1000 to K5000, with terms and conditions that apply.

Our Business Hours
Our business hours are from Monday to Saturday, 24/6, and we are closed on Sundays. We are proud to serve clients from all over PNG, provided they meet the approval requirements.

We encourage all our clients to embrace a cashless society by using SMS or Internet Banking, which is more secure and safe. Furthermore, we don't engage intermediaries or agents as we prefer to communicate directly with our clients.

We offer our loan products Strickly to students and working class people (Employed)

If you do not have SMS or Internet Banking but are willing to do manual deposits, we can make an acception, but under one ondition, that you pay on time and no delay under any circumstances.

Borkents Award

This year, two schools in Usino Bundi Gama have been selected for the Borkents Award: Usino Primary School and Brahman Secondary School.

Congratulations to Usino Primary School, and congratulations 🎉 to the student who receives the Borkents Award, proudly sponsored by Borkents Lending and Finance under the leadership of its young entrepreneur and Director, Bertus Borkent, who has a genuine heart for the young people of Usino-Bundi.

To earn the Borkents Award, students must meet the following requirements:
Demonstrate good character and leadership qualities
Achieve strong academic grades
Be the External Dux of the school

Borkents Lending and Finance is now committed to paying 50% of the school fees for the student who becomes the External Dux of Usino Primary School for 2025.

From the Award committee. This year's support goes to Malcalm Waru from Bogia, a hardworking student who has overcome challenges to pursue his education here in Usino. Borkents is proud to assist in any way .

The most important thing you need in business is the disciplined version of yourself. What do I mean by the disciplined version of yourself? It is essentially the mindset that is willing to utilize resources available to you. Everything tangible and the complex structures or technologies we see around us originate in the mind. It was programmed, calculated, and designed in people’s minds before it came to fruition. Unless you change your mind, you will never become successful in business.

The second key is developing the right traits and habits. Many of these habits take time to form, and perfection isn’t required. The point is to get moving, learn, iterate, and improve day by day. And in commercial world, these are all the assets on your balance sheet.
