Israel Dawson pottery My aim is to make forms that are both functional and beautiful, adding something to the lives of their owners. I'm now potting full time from my Whananaki home.

Hey guys, I was planning to do a one day wildclay this Saturday the 18th June but have decided to cancel at this stage because of conditions of road and studio. The storm has made things very soggy and not very safe underfoot. If you had booked in for this weekend get in touch and we will try for later in year.
Hope everyone has stayed safe in last few days, we only had minor flooding but everything is drenched and clay was underwater.
Keep in touch and keep making.
Do plant some food too, things are challenging

Getting ready for the Wild glaze workshop coming up.

Should be a fun time with melt tests on the day with materials you bring or what I have on hand, in Julie's awesome little portable kiln.

We will be getting our heads around doing line tests and setting one out, also looking at basic accessible equipment for processing materials 🔨

If you have your name down for coming and are awaiting an email it should be coming through soon, pinged my wrist a few days ago and I've been slow at my jobs.
