Awesome work Lite Energy !!! We're super excited to be a small part of something so important.

πŸŒ³πŸŽ‰ We're Tree-mendously Grateful! πŸŽ‰πŸŒ³

Lite Energy is thrilled to celebrate our first month with the Trees That Count initiative! Thanks to our amazing clients, we've already planted a whopping 441 Native trees, and we couldn't be more grateful for your support. πŸ™ŒπŸŒ±

This achievement has completely exceeded our expectations, and we might need to move our goal posts a bit further out! πŸ‰πŸ˜„ But that's a challenge we're excited to embrace as we continue our commitment to creating a more sustainable future together.

A big shoutout to all our clients who have contributed to this fantastic milestone and to the top five contributers for this month! Together, we're making a tangible difference for our environment and future generations! πŸŒπŸ’š

Level three tomorrow (Tuesday) - back to work for tradies, but take your own lunch! πŸ› πŸŒž

If you know someone who is a tradie or is having work done on their house, please check that they are aware of the protocols for work on any residential construction sites. https://www.chasnz.org/covid19

There are quite strict rules like tradies can't leave site to buy lunch - must take their own lunch (no leaving site to get take aways), shouldn't use client toilets, need to keep track of who is on site etc.

Worksafe have said they'll be out and about checking on tradies, so stay safe everyone!!

This page provides the most up-to-date information on standards and protocols for building and construction workers and supervisors during changes in the COVID-19 alert systems.

We're ready for starting back at level three - got the signs sorted for our sites that we must use and boxes of paper towels, soap and sanitiser to try and keep us and our clients safe.

Level three is still really restrictive for builders - we have to give clients a plan from us and a declaration for them to complete, only one trade is allowed on site at a time, no leaving site to buy lunch, no using the client's toilet etc.

Although we are booked up for a bit, the one trade on site rule is going to affect how we work so will have time to fit smaller jobs in - get in touch on [email protected] or www.ajoaksbuilding.co.nz if you need any building work done.

How's everyone going with the lockdown? Have you been working on any projects at home that you want to share?
We're doing some work on a deck for our own house with timber we had at home.
We have no decking though, so it will be a ply deck until the end of the lockdown πŸ˜…

Hi everyone - we hope you are staying safe.

We're going to do some videos to pass the time since we can't go out.

This one is part one of the desks that Andrew is building for Alex and me to use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCxohq-xOrs

Let us know if you have any building or DIY questions and we'll do a video to answer them for you :)

We're running out of space to work at the dining room table, so Andrew is making desks - for me for work and Alex for school
