The NZ insurance industry is undergoing both a legislative change [with an update on how Financial Advisers go about their duties from 15 March 2021] but more significantly the change unravelling globally and how it will impact our immediate future.

So……with the holiday break upon us, a timely opportunity to deactivate the old ‘eq3.co.nz’ website (activating our dormant ‘equal3.co.nz’ domain name in it's place) and a revamp of our general business look and process.

Our page, email and messenger comm's will remain uninterrupted...sooooo bear with us as we add a FRESH fragrance of NEW to our 2021.

What is happening at IAG?..more to the point, what is really happening in our Global industry and how will it affect little NZ. If my dealings with the London market over the past 7 months is anything to go by; write downs on insurer capacity, syndicates leaving the market and recent Building Warranty providers no longer able to find insurers to support them...it is going to be a very different frontier by mid year - BE PREPARED or at least your Broker should have made you aware of market conditions over the past year, or it will bite you.

A follow up from my 9 Nov 2019 interest post - this is the fourth departure in the past month I have read about:

IAG Group Executive Strategy and Corporate Development David Harrington “has decided to leave” the company at the end of March, the insurer says today in a statement.
