Progress update on the Maraetai Road Intermodal Business Park: Development of this business park commenced in 2023 and is progressing in stages, with completion expected by the end of 2025. The park offers 13 fully serviced industrial lots, ranging from 1,696 square meters to two hectares, with flexibility to combine lots to meet specific requirements. Strategically located just off State Highway 1, the park provides direct rail freight access through the Tokoroa Road/Rail Terminal to the Ports of Tauranga and Auckland. This development is anticipated to generate between 150 to 200 new jobs in the district.
