The on course playing golf swing is the one that actually matters. Not the pretty range swing. New movement patterns are starting to stick 👌

Finally got out for some on course practice 👌

Played 9 holes in the sim last night. Windy conditions, manual putting, trying to put a good score up..
Result: EVEN PAR, 57% FAIRWAYS, 100% GIR 👌 and happy with how the swing looks in comparison to my mechanics focused swing I’ve been working on with the towel, foam balls, and net. Less mechanics now, more transfer and performance work!

2 years of swings since first lesson. HCP predictions by year end 🤔?

If your try to change something in your swing, the ball makes it so much harder!
I’ve done this in the past trying to make significant changes.
Straight to a golf ball hitting full speed on the range then taking it to the course.
Yes you can make small changes but usually it’s at the expense of your golf score.
This time round I’ve been working on the mechanics at home, no ball, just a club, towel, foam ball and video feedback. 20 mins a day.
Progress is coming significantly faster!
On course, mechanics are forgotten, performance zone playing golf, and I’ve played some good golf!
Yes I’ll take my new swing to the course eventually and practice it but for the most part I’m just chipping away at the new movement pattern and over time it starts to stick.
