Today, the Reserve Bank of NZ left the Official Cash Rate (OCR) unchanged at 5.5%. 📉 What does it mean?

Essentially, inflation is slowing but still not low enough for interest rates to come down. Economists from some of NZ's major banks are now expecting the first OCR cut for November 2024, but only time will tell if this prediction holds water.
