After 4 years the Reserve Bank has cut the OCR for the first time in what will likely be a series of 5 or more cuts with corresponding interest rate reductions.

GOOD NEWS FOR LOW DEPOSIT HOME LOANS!

The Reserve Bank has just announced that from 1 July 2024 they are relaxing the deposit requirements to get a loan to purchase an existing property for owner occupation (to purchase a home).

This will make it easier for purchasers to be approved for a loan with less than a 20% deposit (subject to the loan still being affordable).

Obviously this will allow a lot of first home buyers to be able to secure a loan to purchase a property.

So I would suggest that if you or somebody you know are seriously considering this that you give me a call today so we can beat the rush.
