We've seen it time and time again. A valuation done years ago, left untouched & out of date.

Our team know that costs change, materials move & labour markets shift.

What was accurate two years ago may have drifted further than you'd expect & you won't know until a claim makes it visible.

Our recommendation? Revisit your valuation every two years. If yours is older than that, it's worth a conversation.

Not in a recession. Not in a flat market. Not when construction activity slows and labour stabilises. Materials and construction cost always moves in one direction.

A rebuild figure that isn't reviewed regularly is a rebuild figure that is falling behind.

The worst moment to find out your rebuild figure is wrong is when you're making a claim.

A client added $400,000 on top of their calculator figure because the number felt low. They insured for $1 million, but the rebuild came in at $1.6 million, so unfortunately, they had to find the difference themselves.

That outcome is not unusual. It is the predictable result of a figure that was never accurate to begin with.
