Job Description: General Manager (GM) - Chartered Accountant
Shivi Investment Pvt. Ltd., a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager (GM) who is a Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to ensure effective cash flow management, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Oversee financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial statements.
Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessments, and evaluation of investment opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plans, goals, and objectives.
Monitor and control costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to optimize operational efficiency.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring high standards of performance, professional development, and employee engagement.
Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Represent the company in financial and investment-related matters, including negotiations, presentations, and client interactions.
Actively participate in board meetings, providing financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a General Manager, Finance Manager, or CFO.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Proficient in financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment analysis.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to drive organizational growth.
