Gopi Small Hydro

Gopi Small Hydro Gopi Small Hydro Project is a 4.2 MW project located in Dolakha, Nepal. This project is rated at 4.2 MW. It will generate about 24 GWh of energy annually.

The waterway consists of settling basin,1800 m headrace pipe and about 750 m long buried/exposed penstock pipe all the way down to powerhouse. The powerhouse will be of surface type and will be built at bank near the confluence of Gopi Khola and Tamakoshi River. Power will be evacuated at Makaibari Substation at Charikot, Dolakha with 11 km 33 kV transmission line.
