Budget is derived from french word bougette and latin word bauge means a small leather bag. In 1933 , Robert wallpole is the first British economist has the announced the definition of budget .In nepal 2008, budget has been started. Budget is the summary of expenditure and revenue of accounting over a particular period of time.
The government budget is the annual summary of statement that shows the estimate of government expenditures and revenue of a country over fixed period of time.fiscal Year budget is released from April 1 to may 30.
Total budget -17 kharab 51 aarab 31 crore
Current expenditure -11 kharab 41 aarab 78 crore
Capital expenditure -3 kharab 2 aarab 7 crore
Financial expenditure -3 kharab 7 aarab 45 crore

Importance/objectives/ uses of government budget:-

1. Mobilizing and utilizing the limited alternative resources effectively.
2. creating sustainable and profitable employment opportunities.
3. Reduce poverty and economic inequality.
4. Maintaining social justice.
5. Maintaining financial accountability
6. Providing information to stakeholders.
7. Providing financial guidance to the government.
8. Bring providing transparency to government of the state.
9. To implement the policies and program of the programs.
