One of the biggest mistakes I made was thinking hard work alone would change my life.

I worked long hours, sacrificed a lot, and stayed committed, but I kept seeing people move faster than me. But I realised after sometime that actually It wasn’t because they were luckier, it was because they had skills that I didn’t have.

And the moment I started the unending journey of investing in myself, reading more, learning sales, marketing, business, trading, and leadership, things began to change. Every new skill opened a new door. Every new door led to a new opportunity.

Therefore my advice is simple, just spend sometime every day learning something that can improve your future (Sales, marketing, communication, ecom, trading, investing, networking , public speaking, content creation… the list is endless.. ) Because the truth is, if you don’t have skills or don’t create value, the world has very little reason to reward you.

Opportunities, income, influence, and success will ALWAYS to flow toward people who can solve problems and contribute something useful.

Looking back over the last couple of years, I’ve seen people with incredible talent accomplish very little, and ordinary people achieve extraordinary things through consistency and faith.

Life has taught me that people do not all begin from the same starting line. Some arrive with support, opportunities, resources, connections, or blessings that others do not. Some arrive carrying burdens, limitations, and lessons that are not immediately visible. Some call it karma. Some call it destiny. Some call it grace. Whatever name we give it, we have to accept that there are forces at play beyond what the eye can see.

So instead of asking, “Why are they ahead of me?” a better question may be, “What seeds am I planting today that will bear fruit tomorrow?” Because comparison focuses on someone else’s harvest. Wisdom focuses on your own planting. In the end, it is your character, your actions, your discipline, and your persistence that determine what eventually becomes reality. Plant your seeds with intention. Water them with discipline. Protect them with patience. Keep planting. Keep growing. Keep believing. Your season will come !!!
