The Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme (BHIS) has organised a one-day training and interactive session for healthcare providers from public and private health facilities across Bayelsa State.

The training focused on the effective use of the Scheme’s digital platform, with emphasis on claims processing, efficiency, transparency, and timely service delivery to enrollees.

The programme also featured an interactive session where participants exchanged ideas and sought clarifications to further improve healthcare delivery.

✅ Vulnerable Population Program (VPP) – Equity-funded health coverage for vulnerable groups, including low-income families, the elderly, children, and persons living with disabilities.

✅ Student Program – Health insurance designed to provide essential healthcare coverage for students in tertiary institutions across Bayelsa State.
