Commercially available LIFEPO4 batteries last anywhere from 2,000-10,000 cycles. The variance in this range is due to,the many dependant factors for the cycle life. If a lithium ion phosphate battery is drained and charged once daily,it could last from 5 years 175 days to,27 years 145 days. Practically in Nigeria,we are yet to see any client,who has used LIFEPO4 battery for up to 10 years.

Flooded batteries have life cycle of 300-1,000 cycles depending on its quality. This means that,if the battery is drained and charged,once a day,it would last from 300 days to 2 years 270 days. It is worth noting that,flooded batteries could last up to 8 years depending on their usage and maintenance.
