Nigeria has the capacity to feed herself and export agricultural products with indigenous technology. Government together with farmers and processors can turn around the economy of this nation through the agricultural sector.

Winosa Foods based in Orereokpe, Delta State, even without government assistance has started production and her products are available in form of: Yellow Cassava flakes (Cassava grits), Plantain Flour, Edible Cassava Flour (fufu) and Beans flour all NAFDAC approved with FDA number. Our products are already out there in the Nigerian market and in the international market.

If we have gvernment assistance with respect to more machines, efficient automation system, reliable energy source plus motorable road to bring our goods from factory to the cities , we can flood the market with international standard packaged foods that can stand the test of time.

Until politicians stop paying lip service to agriculture, hunger and crime will never cease in Nigeria.
