Kesiena is a global trade specialist with over 15 years of experience in Access bank PLC and First Bank of Nigeria (the defunct MBC international Bank) in various functions including trade finance, trade sale specialist, trade operations, audit. Meet Demola Adekoya, Head, Corporate Banking at Coronation Merchant, our panelist for our Interactive Session themed “AFCFTA – The Road Ahead”, holding on Monday.

Demola is an experienced banker whose core banking experience has covered financial and business advisory, wealth management, corporate finance, credit and marketing.

He began his career in August 2002 at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and in 2003 joined Access bank as a senior officer in Global Financial Markets. He joined Coronation Merchant Bank in 2015 as an Assistant General Manager of Corporate banking after 8 years in Marina Securities Limited as Group Head in Financial Advisory Services.

Meet Chinwe Egwim, Chief Economist, Coronation Merchant Bank, one of our speakers at the September edition of our Interactive Session themed “AfCFTA – The Road Ahead”, holding on Monday.

Chinwe is a wealth experienced economic analyst. She has worked at Fitch Ratings Milan and the Central Bank of Nigeria as well as FBN Quest. She has over 500 published economic notes geared towards macro, development, and financial economics. She was appointed as a National Consultant by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa to lead the services trade project which is partly driven by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

Mr Komi Tsowou, Economic Affairs Officer, African Trade Policy Center, Regional Integration and Trade Division, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, will be our guest speaker at the September edition of our Interactive Session themed “AfCFTA – The Road Ahead”, holding on Monday, September 27, 2021.

He is an economist, currently working on Regional Integration and Industrialization issues at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Addis Ababa. Komi previously worked as commodity specialist at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva; as investment officer at iA Financial Group (Industrial Alliance) in Canada and as researcher at the Laboratory of Financial Engineering, Department of Finance and Insurance, Laval University, Canada.

Komi’s area of expertise includes, among others, trade and industrialization, value chains and commodities, infrastructure, investments, and financial risks management.

Mr Francis Anatogu, Secretary, National Action Committee on the AfCFTA, will be our guest speaker at the September edition of our Interactive Session themed “AfCFTA – The Road Ahead”, holding on Monday, September 27, 2021.

He is a Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Public Sector Matters and Secretary of the Nigeria’s National Action Committee on AfCFTA where he heads the Secretariat that coordinates Nigeria’s implementation of the AfCFTA.

He was the Secretary of the Presidential Committee that conducted impact and readiness assessment and stakeholder engagements that resulted in Nigeria joining the AfCFTA. In earlier roles prior to joining the public sector, he advised companies in the energy and communications sectors on strategy, operations improvement, and project management.

Francis started his career in the oil and gas industry with international companies and worked in diverse roles across the exploration and production value chain around the world. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nigeria Nsukka and has an MBA from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
