It’s funny how some people can criticize you behind your back, compete with you in silence, or even wish you less success, but when they’re in a difficult situation, you’re the first person they think of.

😂😂 My landlord also got a quit notice from me!

I lived in a self-contained apartment in a particular compound for two years. During that time, I became my landlord’s favorite tenant because I always helped manage things around the compound, even though I wasn’t the caretaker.

About six months before my rent was due to expire, I informed him during one of our conversations that I would be moving out once my tenancy ended because I needed a one-bedroom apartment. I had already contacted some agents and started searching for a new place.

Eventually, I found an apartment I really liked. The only catch was that the current tenant would be moving out in the same month my rent expired. Since the timing was perfect, I happily agreed to wait.

Fast forward to the month my rent was ending—the same month I planned to move. One day, I returned from work and found a quit notice pasted on my door. 😂

Without saying a word, I removed it and walked straight to my landlord’s door and pasted it there instead. 🤣🤣

When he came back and saw it, the shock on his face was priceless! 😂😂
