Don't attend interviews if you don't have this STAR presentation skill.
⭐ S – Situation
Describe the background, context, or challenge you were facing.
This sets the stage for the interviewer.
Example:
“At my previous job, customer complaints about delivery delays increased.”
⭐ T – Task
Explain your specific role or what you needed to accomplish.
This shows responsibility and ownership.
Example:
“I was assigned to find the root cause and reduce the complaints.”
⭐ A – Action
Describe the exact steps you took to address the situation.
Be detailed. Focus on what YOU did, not the team alone.
Example:
“I audited the delivery process, introduced a new tracking system, and coordinated with the logistics team to improve speed.”
⭐ R – Result
Share the measurable outcome of your action.
Employers love numbers, improvements, or clear achievements.
Example:
“As a result, delivery complaints dropped by 60% within two months.”
