*Job Description:*
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Layer Farm Manager** to oversee daily operations at our newly established poultry farm. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal bird health, egg production, and farm efficiency while preparing for future expansion.
*Responsibilities:*
β Manage day-to-day operations of a 500-capacity battery cage layer farm.
β Monitor bird health, vaccination schedules, and biosecurity measures.
β Supervise feeding programs, egg collection, and record-keeping.
β Train and manage farm staff to ensure best practices.
β Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize production and profitability.
β Oversee farm expansion plans to scale up to 2,000 layers.
β Ensure compliance with animal welfare and environmental regulations.
*Requirements:*
β
Minimum of **2 years** proven experience in **layer farm management** (battery cage system preferred).
β
Strong knowledge of poultry health, nutrition, and disease prevention.
β
Ability to maintain accurate production and financial records.
β
Leadership skills with experience in staff supervision.
β
Willingness to reside on-site (accommodation provided).
*Preferred Skills:*
πΉ Experience with farm scaling and expansion.
πΉ Knowledge of automated feeding/watering systems.
πΉ Basic veterinary skills (vaccination, medication administration).
