Information and opportunity have and will always be the defining factors why there is a yawning gap between the 'rich and poor'.

I have been thinking recently about creating a cashflow system where my money will work for me while i sleep. A couple of existing ideas occurred to me and i thought to share. People have been 'cashing out' on this but i believe there are still others who need this awareness.

There are basically two reasons why people in shares viz 'Capital appreciation and dividend income'. You can create an investment portfolio containing stocks of companies that pays dividend yearly and across different times of the year such that you are sure of receiving dividends on a monthly basis.

The beautiful thing is you don't need to have a huge amount of money to invest all at once, you can keep increasing the amount (Units) of shares you have overtime.

Below are some of the dividend giants in Nigeria

MTN Nigeria

Dangote Cement

Zenith Bank

GTCO.

I am going to publish a post on companies that pays dividend and the time of the year in which they do and other basic knowledge you need to have so you can effectively trade on the stock exchange.

Let us keep learning, working and Growing Financially.

It's been said that you will be the same 5 years from today except for the books you read and the people you meet.

Quality relationships can change your fortune in splits seconds. It can take you where hard work alone can't take you.

As you are investing financially, try to create valuable relationships by being a valuable person. .
