I spent yesterday evening with and the .baraza team, and they put together an incredible event for tech founders to dive deeper into the legal realities of the startup ecosystem, as well as business models and PMF strategies.

I love being in rooms like this because I always leave with more clarity and even better questions about what needs to be improved or refined in my own business.

I also got to see Oga HR again and connected with the brilliant (truly your go-to for PMF and business models).

Thank you for bringing this together, . I’m genuinely excited about and proud of the work you’re doing in the tech ecosystem.

Oh Elohor!

In 2023, I was completely clueless about what to do with Nestuge. I would randomly call Elohor and we’d talk for hours. She would share different ideas on how to market the product; try this, try that.

One day she said, “Don’t worry, this company will grow and you sef will be a big woman.”
And I said, “Amen ooo,” because honestly, at the time, I didn’t believe… but SHE DID.

She was always present. Always helpful. Always showing up.

So when we finally had some money in October 2023, it was a no-brainer to bring her onboard as our first ever Nestuge influencer.

Elohor supported me. She became one of our first paying users and brought other creators along too.

I’m grateful that I was also able to show up for you every time you called, especially during GROW CONFERENCE.

Elohor was a hard worker. Her zeal and determination truly need to be studied.
Her impact was LOUD.

She lived a good life. She loved teaching people about marketing, and she spent her days doing exactly that. She genuinely wanted to help small business owners and creators grow, and she created THE GROW CONFERENCE because of that passion.

My last proper conversation with her was at The Nestuge (Nest) Party in December. After the event ended, I told her to stay for the after-party, but she said she had to go because she and her friends pray by 10pm, and she needed to be home.

In everything she did, she made time for Jesus. She was intentional about growing her relationship with Him. I am consoled because I know you are with your Father.

Rest well, Elohor.
You will forever be missed 💙

OWN YOUR DIFFERENCE

Everyone has something distinct from others, the earlier you REALIZE and EMBRACE it, the close you get to EVERY/ ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO BE.

Most people spend so much time trying to be like someone that they were called to be.

The reason we look at others and appreciate what they have to the point of wishing to be like them is because we have not ACKNOWLEDGED OUR DIFFERENCE and EMBRACE(own) it.

Still we acknowledge and embrace our distinct feature (gift), we keep moving farther from our DESTINED DESTINATION.

Go out henceforth and embrace (own) your difference.
