Where was I? Ah yes... Every Tom .. You know the rest, tells you to visualize success to achieve your goal. 👇

Think of the holidays you can have..
Think of the nice cars...
Think of the freedom... I have a different opinion.

Visualize Failure. 😈

Success is a harder proposition for most people because many haven't actually lived very successful lives.

It's like saying "visualize St. Tropez, Venice or Ibiza". You might have read online about them as tourist destinations, but it doesn't mean you're familiar with them.
This ain't The Secret😒

Instead, I'd rather you visualize something you might be familiar with and that is ... FAILURE.

Think about ... Never getting out of debt.
Living an eternally average life
Going through the motions of a relatively mundane existence
Having more bills than money
Working that dead end job until you're fired.
Never fulfilling your potential.

And if that proposition doesn't scare you or compel you enough to get off your derrière and get your hustle on, then, perhaps you should stay there.

Besides, what do you have to lose?

Success sometimes is a NICE TO HAVE, but failure is a MUST ESCAPE.

Worst case scenario, you'll remain in mediocrity.

Best case, success won't be a foreign concept to you because it'd be your life.

Do Extra...

In the days of Jesus, a Roman soldier could legally force a Jewish civilian to carry his heavy backpack for up to a mile.

So to walk the first mile was to do only what was required

Then Jesus came and said in Matt. 5:41: if someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two. Why? Because an extra mile attitude gives you opportunity to impact the lives of others.

A person with an extra mile attitude, cares more than other think is wise, risks more than other think is safe, dreams more than other think is practical, believes more than other think is possible and gives more than other think is necessary.

The difference between mediocrity and excellence is that extra-mile.
The difference between ordinary and extra-ordinary is the extra, ordinary people added to it.

This is the crux.. whatsoever your hand findeth to do, do extra!
