30/09/2026
September was indeed a full month.
My birthday came with so much love gifts, surprises, cake, laughter, good friends and memories I’ll hold close for a long time. ❤️
Work was full too. We pushed deals that didn’t close, kept showing up, and eventually closed a deal in Abuja. It wasn’t so huge amount of money (lol), but it was a win, and I’m learning to appreciate the small wins too.
I also spent a lot of this month multitasking and trying to keep everything together. Then, last week, my body reminded me that I’m human. I had to slow down, visit the hospital, run some tests, check my health and treat what needed attention.
Today, September 30th, I’m simply grateful for life.
But one lesson stayed with me more than anything this month: people matter.
Having people who will go out of their way just to put a smile on your face is something I don’t take for granted anymore.
I’m also learning to make myself available for the things that matter; a simple phone call, showing up for someone when they’re at their lowest, checking in, being grateful for life and, most importantly, building genuine relationships.
I used to think I could always do everything alone.
But as I grow older, I’m realizing that, one way or another, we all need people.
And maybe that’s the little food for thought I’m leaving with you today.
September will always be special to me. I’m grateful for everything it brought, everything it taught me and even the things that didn’t go as planned.
Here’s to hoping October is even better.
Happy graceful month end. ❤️
