Just a little up date, the price of egusi with its peals still stands at about 20 to 24 thousand naira per 100kg bag at Doma, Nasarawa state.

Shulamite Agro Business Investment company will be Investing in Egusi come mid August, due to the following reasons.

1. By July ending, farmers will start harvesting egusi, this will lead to it being surplus and the price will depreciate.

2. We are waiting till mid August because buying by July we would be at risk of purchasing wet product making is vulnerable and storing it will see it loose weight on the long run.

3. Egusi is an oil rich export crop, by next year, with the good sight and relief globally from the pandemic, ports and borders will be open for business, making Investors come in to get this raw material for vegetable oil processing, giving this product prospects in the market.

*Please get prepared, financially (20 to 25 thousand naira for a 100kg bag) and otherwise, those who might be interested can tag along*

Here's a little overview of our last session.

We talked about some of the possible schemes to make money out of Melon (egusi).

As an oil rich cash crop, egusi is a great deal in the agricultural market. Planted immediately after the first rain and harvested around August. Doma (Nasarawa state) is a very good and reliable place to make purchase.
This principle was and will always be highlighted "Agricultural products are best bought (for quality and affordability purpose) during harvest and best sold (good price) when they're about to be planted", this implies that venturing into Agro Investment, it's not a day money multiplication quest, it requires your patience for about 4 to 6 months to yield good return.

Some few scheme to make money from egusi include;
1. Buying during harvest and selling when they're about to be planted.
2. Buying with it's peals (cheaper), milling it's peals and sell (expensive).
3. Buying from region where it's been produced (cheeper), and taking to places where it's consumed the most (expensive).
4. Building a vegetable oil industry where you can drill it's oil.

Shulamite Agro Business Investment company is here to make all this easy for you, help you maximize this opportunity by connect you to the network of buyers and sellers of various products and as well help manage risks.

Melon seed (egusi) is an oil rich plant, with high nutritional and economy value.

In 2018 egusi was gotten at about 30k per bag during harvest and was sold in 2019 as much as about 80k per bag during the planting season.

Sesame seed or Beniseed
popularly known as ridi, in northern part of Nigeria.
Sesame seeds are tiny, oil-rich seeds that grow in pods on the Sesamum indicumplant.
They're planted around July/August and harvested by November/December.

This is majorly found in the Eastern part of nasarawa state. Doma local government area, lafia zone to be precised.

Never forget this as an investor, in agro Business, products are cheaper during harvest, and most expensive during planting season. This is driven by the demand-supply principle. *this is sometime affected by an instability in economy and turn put in harvest*

Ridi is mostly cheaper November/ December, it goes high and declines again by March/April due to the availability of cashew nuts. it has been that way for ages. In January 2020 a kilogram of ridi was sold at 330 naira. a 100kg bag was 33,000 naira. by March it declined to #290 per kilogram. As at 29th of March it rose to #310 per kg and as at 1st of June 2020 it has risen to #350 per kilo, 35k per bag of 100 kilo. it's on the rise. By July/August it will be best sold due to shortage as they're lost to consumption and poor storage, and high demand by farmers who wants to farm it.

I believe in this low interest rate era, you won't want your money to rot in the bank without yielding forth more. Shulamite Agro Business Investment will guide you through if you're interested in venturing into Agro Business, as we have the expertise and experience.

According to Oxford Business Group's CEO survey in 2020, The percentage of CEOs who say their companies are likely or very likely to make a significant investment has risen from 59% in 2016 to 62% in 2019. Interestingly, though, this figure was unchanged from the 2018 result.

While it is expected to have investors rushing into manufacturing based industry in Africa, in a bid of creating job, the role of agriculture can never be over emphasized. Food processing, packaging and other agro allied industries will have a hike and would play great role in decelerating unemployment rate and in turn diversify the economy by making huge impact on GDP.

Stay glued to Shulamite Agro Business Investment, as we would offer you step after step on how to go about making money through Agriculture.

In today’s low interest rate environment, everyone is talking about how investing can get you a higher return than just letting money “rot” in the bank. While investing is not rocket science, neither is it child’s play – people have lost fortunes and ruined their lives doing it wrong.

Unfortunately, the idea of investing scares the heck out of a lot of people. Some think they don't have enough money to get started. Others are scared of the math. A sizable percentage is too afraid that they'll make a mistake and lose everything. And many would-be investors who don't suffer from any of those fears or misconceptions are staggered by the overwhelming amount of information.

Shulamite Agro Business Investment will be offering free classes on how you can create wealth for yourself by investing in agriculture, stay tuned.
