I just wrapped up designing a project and budget tracker for my client, and I'm excited about the outcome.

📍The main pain points for the client were:
1. Lack of a centralized system to track project progress and budget in one place.
2. Manual follow-ups to ensure deadlines were met.
3. Inconsistent visibility into budget and project statuses, making reporting difficult.

📍The solution I provided was to design a comprehensive project and budget tracker using Airtable, which allowed the client to:

-Track project progress, including key details such as tasks, budget allocations, expenses, and current status.
-Automate notifications and reminders, reducing the need for manual follow-ups.

📍Key Features of the project include:
1. Automations:

-The system automatically notifies the assigned team leader when a project is assigned to them.
-A second automation sends a reminder when the due date is 3 days away.
-Trigger a final alert 1 day before the deadline.

2.Custom Interface: I built a user-friendly interface where the client could easily view all projects and their related details in one place. This interface included:
-Task breakdown for each project.
-Budget allocations and real-time tracking of expenses.
- Project status indicators to quickly identify if projects were on track, at risk, or overdue.

How I Transformed a Real Estate Firm's Operations

I recently created a user-friendly database for a real estate firm that helps them manage their properties, track listings, monitor agents, and stay on top of maintenance requests—all in one place.

Here's how I made it happen:

1. I first identified what the firm needed to track like properties, clients, and transactions.

2. I created separate tables for each key element like properties, listings, clients, and transactions and then use linked records to connect related data, ensuring all information is interconnected and easily accessible.

3. Set up different views to focus on specific data (like active listings or upcoming transactions).

4. Used Airtable’s automation features to send notifications, update records, and generate reports automatically to reduce manual work and ensures that important tasks don’t slip through the cracks.

5. Finally, I designed an interface for easy data entry, tracking and overview of key metrics.

The company was struggling to keep track of multiple events, vendors, and clients. Their previous system involved countless spreadsheets, leading to confusion and missed details.

They transitioned to Airtable, setting up separate tables for events, vendors, clients, and tasks. Using Linked Records, they connected these tables to manage everything from client details to vendor contracts.

I helped them set it up like this:

1. Events Table: Centralized information on each event, such as date, location, and client.

2. Tasks Table: Listed all tasks associated with each event, linked to the corresponding event and vendors.

1. Set Up Your Airtable Base

Create a Base: Design your Airtable base to include tables for contacts, leads, deals, etc. Customize fields to capture relevant CRM information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, deal stages, etc.

Populate Data: Add some sample data to your tables to test the integration.

2. Sign Up for Zapier

Create an Account: If you don’t already have a Zapier account, sign up at [Zapier](https://zapier.com/).

Log In: Log in to your Zapier account.

3. Create a Zap

Start a New Zap: Click on the "Make a Zap" button to create a new Zap (an automation workflow in Zapier).

Choose a Trigger App: Select Airtable as the trigger app.
- Trigger Event: Choose a trigger event, such as "New Record" or "New Record in View," which will kick off the automation.
- Connect Airtable: Sign in to your Airtable account and allow Zapier to access your bases.

- Trigger: New record in Airtable (Leads table).
- Action: Create a new contact in HubSpot CRM with the data from the Airtable record.
