Boxer Sugar Ray Leonard is hoping for a knockout in the real estate market. He recently relisted his Pacific Palisades estate for $46.5 million, tapping a trio of agents, including luxury real estate specialist Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland, to handle the sale.

The gated and hedged 1.7-acre property features a seven-bedroom, 16,700-square-foot home designed custom for Leonard by AD100 architect Richard Landry, who has worked with other athletes and celebrities, including football quarterback Tom Brady and ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky. Inspired by Florentine villas, the home features a terracotta tile roof and rustic wood-beamed ceilings. Highlights include a two-story family room, a screening room, and a solarium.

With an estimated value of N59 trillion opportunities, 200 million population and a housing demand-supply gap put at over 20 million units, the real estate market is an attractive investment destination.

According to the Guardian Newspaper, the housing market crisis came a spike in negligent practices and fraud perpetrated by some property professionals/charlatans and others who exploit the desperation of prospective homeowners and tenants to defraud victims of a large sum of money.

The Iconic Towers comprise four blocks of towers of 13-floor each, which offer a contemporary live, work-play lifestyle. It will be developed in four phases. The first phase has been completed and will be ready for occupation by December. Other phases will be delivered next year.

In 2015, Sahil Mehta helped sell his first property in the Berkeley, Calif., area at the age of 18, earning a commission of around $2,000. It solidified his interest in pursuing real estate sales and investments, which has only grown in the ensuing years.

“It was such an incredible feeling, not because of the amount of money but the sense of accomplishment,” Mehta tells CNBC Make It.

Now, at just 25, Mehta co-owns five investment properties with his older brother, worth around $9.4 million. He also works full-time at Golden Gate Sotheby’s, helping manage and close sales.

Following the gradual return of workers to offices and international travel resumption, Nigeria’s high-end homes are in high demand, which has prompted a rise in rental prices and an increase in off-plan sales.

The Guardian learned that the development has sent the prime lettings market into a frenzy, pushing up rental income and demand by buyers of luxury apartments across neighborhoods such as Ikoyi, Victoria Island in Lagos, and Asokoro as well as other prime locations in Abuja.

Real estate and property development firm, Messrs Tetramanor Limited, has announced plans to construct a 28-floor luxury tower in the heart of Eko-Atlantic City (EAC), Lagos.
