The process of incorporating a company in Nigeria involves the following steps:

1. Reservation of business name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). This is to ensure that the proposed name of the company is not in use by another entity.

2. Preparation of the Memorandum and Articles of Association. This document outlines the objectives, structure, and rules of operation of the company.

3. Payment of statutory fees and stamp duty. The fees vary depending on the nature and the size of the company.

4. Submission of the required documents to the CAC. These include the completed application form, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and proof of payment of fees and stamp duty.

5. Confirmation of the documents by the CAC. The CAC verifies that the submitted documents meet all the requirements for incorporation.

6. Issuance of certificate of incorporation. Upon verification, the CAC issues a certificate of incorporation, which signals the official recognition of the company as a legal entity.

7. Registration for Tax purposes. The newly incorporated company must register with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and obtain a Tax Identification Number (TIN) for tax purposes.

Wannan gwagwarmaya ba na rana daya ba ne. Na duk rayuwa ne.
