A lot of people don't recognise opportunity when they see it while some others simply take the moment for granted and don't utilize it, only a few people own up to the challenge that come with an opportunity.
Nothing is worse than missing an opportunity that could have changed your life.
When life relegates you and make you feel you are worth less, that's not a time to play the pity party, entrepreneurs are risk takers, smart entrepreneurs see the risks as an opportunity to do more and be more.
Nothing that will stand the test of time ever comes with a great packaging, it comes as a raw material to be groomed and processed.
Everyone in life owe his or her existence an opportunity to make the world better.
Look around, there must be something that gives you that burning desire to change it's outlook, when ever you have that discomforting feeling about something in your environment that is not done right... that is your opportunity to improve on what is already availability, sometimes it calls for creating something new.
Let's exercise our creative ability, why do we just sit and blame everyone else except our very own self.
Yes you cannot do it all but you can start from somewhere, you can do it in a better way that others can see and improve themselves.
For instance, Nigeria is a raw material waiting for people that will grab an opportunity.
Taking advantage of opportunity does not only improve your life and that of the people around you it also bring wealth.
I know of an entrepreneur who started an organization for other small scale businesses, a lot of people will rather patronise foreign goods, our supermarkets are filled with a wide variety of goods imported from China, UK, US and other countries around the world. Nigerians hardly patronise made in Nigeria goods unless the product is extremely good with excellent packaging and even at that I don't know why people think that patronising foreign products is a status symbol🤷♀
A lot of Nigerian entrepreneurs literally hawk their products on the street begging people to patronise them, most of these products are even better than than their foreign counterpart except that they lack good packaging and presentation.
Someone saw the need to improve on this and to create a better platform for local producers and he picked up the opportunity, he rented a supermarket size shop where other local producers can come and rent spaces in his shelves, today he is a consultant, giving branding and packaging solutions to local entrepreneurs, now Nigerians are running to his showroom to buy high quality Nigerian made goods while entrepreneurs are smiling to the bank, recently I heard they are moving to their personal property, a N400million industrial hub and training centre.
You don't have to create your own showroom but there is more to do beginning from the society around us, enough of the complaining, its time to take the bull by the horn.
