INTRODUCTION
A wise man once said If you want to go fast go alone,if you want to go far go together. Meaningful ,long term and ever lasting success can only be achieved effectively and efficiently when two or more people co-operate as one to achieve a set goal. As a people we can effortlessly achieve greater hights of success when we Cooperate and Unite together as one. "Cooperate", in the etymological sense of the word means “to work together”, A cooperative society is therefore a voluntary association or society of a group of people with a common motive working together, targeted at providing quality and satisfactory services to its members. Any person can join a co -operative society and can leave at any time giving the due notice to the society.
WHO WE ARE
Agro-firm group cooperative is a newly established cooperative aimed at connecting with individuals, private and governmental agencies through agriculture in raising a financially independent generation.
The organization functions on three platforms ranging from agricultural, business, and research and development.
The organization has it's operation headquarters in Abuja and branches that cut across all the states of the federation.
The organization is managed by a group of intellectual, motivated, well trained professionals from all works of life coming together to work as a team towards achieving the organizations aims and objectives through an organized system.
Membership is open to youths between the age range of 18 - 60 years old.

WHAT WE DO
As a multi-purpose cooperative society we are involved in the following economic Actives;
Agriculture
One of the highest demand of mankind for survival is food, therefore, Agriculture is one of the most important sector in the economy of the world, for the sustainability and continuety of mankind, Agricultural produce has become the utmost concern of every society, hence ,in AFG We work tirelessly with both subsistence and commercial farmers in the production, preservation, packaging and selling of agricultural produce. Thereby aiding farmers to continue to be dynamic in meeting with the ever increasing and changing needs and expectations of the community.
Research and Development
Our group of expertise are involved in daily research on modern methods of farming and preservative techniques, modern methods of cross breeding of crops and livestocks to yield and give a healthy and bountiful harvest at expected time. The principal aim of these is to improved seeds, fertilizers and modern techniques of farming.
Marketing Strategy
A market is a place where both the buyer and sellers meet. To keep a good relationship that will keep the market system flourishing, a good marketing strategy is required. With our good marketing strategy we creat a direct link for consumers to meet with the producer or wholesalers and purchase goods at price lower than the external market price. All members of our cooperative have free access to meet with our producers and purchase good and services at a very low and affordable price.
Financial Activities
Building financially independent individual and creating a system in the economy that helps the country and world at large in poverty alleviation is one the objectives of our cooperatives,hence,We are committed to ensuring that our share holders, investors and members of our cooperative are financially independent through our grant scheme and quarterly disposal of surplus.
