₦2 billion raised through a Series 1 Private Note Issuance.

In Year 6, BAS Finance mobilised institutional capital at scale, under a ₦10 billion programme designed to put working capital directly into the hands of Nigerian SMEs that deserve it.

Investor confidence in Nigeria's SME financing market is real. BAS Finance is the institution channeling it.

₦39 billion in advisory mandates across six years of BAS Wealth.

One comment on this milestone said it better than we could: the question is not where capital is placed. It is whether the opportunity is aligned with your goals, timeline, risk appetite, and legacy objectives.

Four things. Most high earners have clarity on one, maybe two. Almost nobody has all four documented.

That is the gap ₦39 billion taught us to close. Not with products but with architecture.

₦20 billion disbursed to Nigerian SMEs.

BAS Finance just hit a landmark, and we could not be prouder.
In under a year, BAS Finance has moved capital faster, smarter, and further than traditional lending ever could. Thousands of businesses. Multiple sectors. One mission: close the credit gap.

And the market noticed. Featured across TechCabal, BusinessDay, Nairametrics, and ThisDay Live.
This is what building for Nigeria looks like. Congratulations to the BAS Finance team.

BAS Group held its first quarterly retreat on April 10–11, 2026, and it was exactly what building something serious looks like behind the scenes.
Across two days, our leadership team came together to review group performance, interrogate our strategy, stress-test our thinking, and sharpen the discipline required to execute at the level we’ve set for ourselves.
Sessions ranged from financial and brand reviews with our Group CEO and CFO, to a special guest session with Dr. Akintoye Akindele spanning leadership, mindset, and a deep-dive book review series, to a Moneyball screening and simulation that asked a pointed question: are we building the right team, with the right metrics, for the right outcomes?

And yes, we made candles and planted things. Deliberately. Because what you design with your hands, you remember in your decisions. The work continues.

Most high earners in Nigeria have built Layer 1 of their wealth architecture.

Almost none have built all four.

Layer 1 is liquid — cash, accessible savings, accounts. You have this.
Layer 2 is growth — money working in instruments that compound over time. Most people are partially here.
Layer 3 is protection — legal structures, insurance, wills, succession plans. This is where most high earners have a dangerous gap.
Layer 4 is legacy — what outlasts you. Documented. Protected. Structured to transfer.

Here’s what we see at BAS Wealth:

A business generating serious revenue, with no succession plan.
Significant assets, with no will.
Wealth built around a person, not structured to survive them.

The gap isn’t income.
It’s everything that income never forced you to think about.

Which layer are you missing?
