Many people borrow money to settle their debts, some borrow money to attend to their wants and needs which does not generate money for them. Wants such as party, clothes, expensive cars etc.

This is absolutely wrong, money should be borrowed to acquire assets that generates money. Assets such as real estate, starting a business etc.
