ELECTRIC CO-GENERATION FROM RAW MATERIAL TO SECOND IN ENERGY

FIRST WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT

SOCRITEC SCIC (COOPERATIVE COMPANY OF PUBLIC INTEREST) ​​will build the first waste-to-energy plant in ABIA, NIGERIA.

SOCRITEC SCIC will build the first waste-to-energy plant, 100 km south of UMAHIA. with a total area of ​​7.5 hectares, it will process up to 5,000,000 tons of secondary raw material per year and will have a production capacity of 66 MW, equal to the consumption of 100,000 homes.



The Waste to Energy plant project was developed by SOCRITEC Energy will establish a milestone in the development of secondary raw material technology by reducing and exploiting it for renewable energy generation.



The whole process will result in the creation of 1000 jobs during construction work, as well as around 160 new permanent jobs for future operations and maintenance.



This contract is part of SOCRITEC's long-term commitment to NIGERIA with projects based on state-of-the-art technologies that contribute to sustainability and environmental protection.
