The Financial Literacy Initiative (FLI) was initiated by the Ministry of Finance in 2009 with support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Minister of Finance, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, officially launched the FLI in 2012. More than 40 platform partners from the Namibian public, private and civil society sector are part of the FLI platform.

We are proud to collaborate with PostFin to deliver tailored financial literacy training specifically for our pensioners. Our mission is to ensure our elders have the essential tools to manage retirement funds and navigate modern banking safely.

The FLI hosted an empowering Financial Workplace Wellness Program (FWWP) for the incredible team at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform.Through practical budgeting strategies, we explored how to navigate daily expenses, curb impulse spending, and align everyday financial choices with long-term security.
