[UPDATED] AIA understands the challenges faced by Malaysians from all walks of life amidst rising healthcare costs. We fully support Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) interim measures and the joint commitment from the insurance and takaful industry in implementing these changes responsibly and effectively.
These interim measures are designed to assist policyholders in ensuring they can continue to afford much needed medical protection. AIA Malaysia is committed to implementing these updates fairly, transparently, and in line with the framework provided by BNM while the industry collaborates with regulators, healthcare providers and the government to develop sustainable long-term initiatives.
Rest assured that in due time, policyholders will receive advance notice and clear explanations on how their premiums may be affected.
