Pocket Projects

Pocket Projects Pocket Projects is a niche property developer finding creative ways to preserve and adapt interesting old buildings in Southeast Asia.

Keen to do something other than tear down that great old building and build another mall? We believe there are lots of opportunities for creative development across Southeast Asia, combining old and new design, public and private spaces, breathing life into places and drive value for their owners. Our key area of expertise is conceptualising unique solutions for the regeneration of distressed urba

n areas and adaptive reuse of old or heritage buildings. In all our work, we place strong emphasis on design and public space and combine sensitivity to architectural heritage and local context with a modern design aesthetic, informed by evolving consumer trends and new uses of space. We specialise in breathing new life and financial viability into old, disused buildings. Our multidisciplinary background in finance, design and urban planning enables us to achieve both creative solutions and commercial viability in our projects.

Creative Enclaves http://wp.me/p3WEtI-5z

Transformation of a row of 1940s shophouses in Kuala Lumpur into a neighbourhood of well-designed small offices, retail, leisure and public spaces to host a community of handpicked tenants with similar outlooks and complementary businesses. Inspired by other creative enclaves in major cities, globally, The Row in KL will preserve, yet transform these shophouses to suit the spatial needs of small/ creative businesses, and be centered around a dramatic, flexible events space born out of the remains of an old nightclub, which will redefine the way tenants and the public use these spaces
