As parents, we don't just want to leave money.

Traditionally, families could achieve this through a trust, but setting up and maintaining one comes with fees 💸💸💸

Today, there's a new option!

Great Eastern now allows parents to pre-design how the insurance proceeds are paid out, 𝐚𝐭 𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭!!! 🎉

It's almost like creating your own insurance trust without worrying about trustee fees.

Because love isn't measured by how much money we leave behind.

It's measured by how well we continue taking care of our children, even when we're no longer here. ❤️

A story about a cool dad 👨🏻

While signing up my client for an Income Replacement plan last month..

👨🏻: “Actually, I never intended to buy a lot of insurance, because I already have cash and other assets for my 3 children.”

👨🏻: “But then I asked myself…

‘What if one day I’m gone when they’re still so young?’

👨🏻: “That thought made me decided to secure my children with immediate emergency fund with you.”

Real story about love and responsibility ❤️

🚨𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁

A month plus ago, while attending my club's AGM, I received a missed call from my client, followed by a message:

"Please call me now"

I immediately sensed something was wrong so I quickly excused myself and returned her call immediately.

Her daughter had suddenly developed a severe headache and nausea and was rushed to the nearest hospital. Understandably, her first question was:

"Will my insurance cover this?"

Since her policy was still new (less than 2 years), I advised her not to worry but focus on her daughter's treatment first while I would assist with the claim process later.

The doctor diagnosed 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀 and recommended an MRI scan for brain, to rule out other serious conditions.

Concerned about the cost -- RM2K+, she asked whether this outpatient MRI would be claimable.

I reassured her that as long as the scan was medically necessary, it would be covered under her latest medical card.

Thankfully, the MRI results were normal. Thereafter, I assisted with the necessary medical report application and claim submission.

Reviewing and upgrading your medical coverage regularly can help ensure you have more comprehensive protection when you need it most.

If you haven't reviewed your medical plan for years, it would be time for a check-up now!

这位工人做了8年 Senior Manager of Application Engineering。

Frontal lobe
Manager level

PERKESO说他fit to work——但fit to work ≠ fit for this role。

Medical termination

Occupational Health Doctor

Is it possible to still receive a monthly income after you stop working at 60? 🤩🤩🤩

How about a structured Retirement Plan with 𝗙𝗜𝗫𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧 directly to your bank account, regardless of market volatility?

It is POSSIBLE if you’re willing to save for your future self, starting from now.

Let’s explore 💬

Early this year, my friend and client was diagnosed with cancer. It was truly unexpected and a very difficult moment. 💔

Along with the physical pain from surgeries, there was also emotional stress from dealing with additional expenses such as post-surgery recovery and healthcare costs.

Thankfully, amidst this unfortunate situation, last year she was selected for a medical upgrade campaign by the insurance company, and her medical card annual limit was upgraded to 5 Million despite her pre-existing condition (fibroids found many years ago). 🙏

I am also grateful that her Living Assurance claim is approved within just 1 month.

✔ RM100,000 Critical Illness payout 💰
✔ Future premiums waived while coverage continues 🛡️
✔ Immediate financial support during treatment 💰
✔ Buy Back Option offered 🔄

The Buy Back Option means she now has the option to purchase a life insurance policy with the same sum assured — even after being diagnosed with cancer.

Under normal circumstances, once a person is diagnosed with cancer, new life insurance applications would typically be declined. This Buy Back Option provides a rare second chance to continue protecting their loved ones financially, even when they are no longer around. 🕊️

Many people may not realise — insurance is not about claiming. It protects our dignity, and more importantly our loved ones when the most unfortunate situations happen.

I am grateful to be able to help — not only when life is smooth, but especially when they need support the most. ❤️

❤️‍🩹Prostate Cancer, and its medical costs.

This is my client's case involving prostate cancer, with medical costs and claim payouts by Great Eastern.

The treatment journey is still ongoing. Certain advanced scans and genomic testing were not covered under the older medical cards, as these technologies did not exist at the time the policy was purchased.

However, the bills were eventually settled as a gesture of goodwill by the insurance company❣️

What matters most during a health crisis is not arguing over clauses, but peace of mind.

When health is at its weakest, financial certainty becomes emotional security💝

In this case, the insurance company paid according to the contract, and even went beyond it.

📍So the real question is:
If insurance pays as promised, and sometimes more, why do people still say insurance cheats them?

More often than not, the issue is not dishonesty, but:
❎Lack of understanding of policy terms
❎Buying based on price instead of needs
❎Not reviewing or upgrading plans as medical technology advances

Insurance is not about PROFIT🤑
It is about keeping promises when life is uncertain ☔️
