After two weeks of hard work in the USA, networking, arrangements of stakeholders, on the ground preparation for another trip end of this year, I’m finally heading home to Malaysia. But first, a stop in Dubai to enjoy my smoked salmon and foie gras with champagne. I think I deserve this little luxury. 😂😂

I made a courtesy call and met with the Mayor of Malaga city for some drinks. Malaga is looking outwards for investors and partners in the hospitality, F&B and tourism sectors among other things.

Now with the trade barriers and tariffs for exports to USA, it may be good to rethink business strategies now in other parts of the world.😊

I’m back in Spain again. This time to Marbella, Costa del Sol, otherwise known as the Spanish Riviera, for a conference.

Aside from the learning and networking, I’m looking forward to some Andalusian cuisine, flamenco and culture. Will be busy next few days 😊

I met a Belgian family for champagne and seafood dinner in Bangsar recently. Interesting people. The husband manages Airbnb properties in Bali, the wife is an airline pilot and the mother a concert artiste. They are MM2H participants andhave a home in Malaysia but meet up all over the world to catch up. I believe it’s possible to😍. This is one example that it’s possible to travel and relocate your home anywhere; it’s only the mindset that prevents one from doing so.

In spite of talk, opinions, forecasts, analyses to the contrary, I believe the strength and dominance of the USD will still be here for sometime yet, like or not.

The Trump 2.0 will ensure that. Furthermore I believe Republicans will still control the White House and major policy and legislative directions for the next one or two terms after Trump.
