Proof of payment
Please print out your receipt of payment as this will be the proof that you have paid for the event. We will only be using the receipt as proof of payment when collecting shirts, boarding the bus and registering on the event day itself.
Means of keeping your belongings dry
A plastic bag will be provided on the race day for participants to store their phones, wallets and receipt to keep it from getting wet. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that their personal belongings are not damaged. We are reminding the participants that this is a water balloon run and you may get wet. Hence, the organizing committee will not be responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings of participants on the day of the race.
Route information
There will be an optional dry route at all water balloon stations. The committee will not place water balloons in this area nor will they throw any water balloons into this area. Participants from the wet route should refrain from throwing water balloons at participants from the dry route. Both routes are approximately the same distance. It is possible to interchange between the routes. For example a participant can run through the dry route of one water balloon station and then run through the wet route of the next water balloon station. Participants will run the route twice. The distance of one loop is approximately 2.5km.
How to identify you on the race day
Please wear the shirt on the day of the run as it will be the only way we can identify the participants from the general public. Facilities provided for participants will only be provided to those who are wearing the Run For Literacy shirt.
Parking
Parking is limited on the race day, to ensure you have a place to park please come earlier. Otherwise you will have to park by the roadside at your own risk.
