The RZS-CASIS 17th Saturday Night Lecture Series continues this Saturday with its third session, bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds in the shared pursuit of knowledge grounded in adab and intellectual discipline.
Initiated more than three decades ago by the late Royal Laureate Professor Tan Sri Dr Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, the series remains an important platform for meaningful scholarly engagement and reflection on the role of knowledge in shaping individuals and society.
The session will be led by Dr. Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud, Founder and Former Director of RZS-CASIS (2011–2015) and the First Inaugural Holder of the SMN Al-Attas Distinguished Chair of Islamic Thought (2019–2025). As a direct student of the late Professor and having engaged extensively with his works over the years, Dr. Wan brings a deeply grounded perspective to this ongoing intellectual engagement.
IBFIM is honoured to be part of the organising institutions for this meaningful initiative.
