衔接笨珍与新山的埔来河大桥已竣工，预料将在近期正式启用。
马华依斯干达公主城区会主席拿督张秀福在面簿发帖提到，大桥一旦通车，将能缩短笨珍与新山的距离。
“这座全程7.5公里的大桥通车后，也将缩短丹绒比艾通往龟咯及丹绒柏勒巴斯港口的距离，有效减低运输成本。”
他有信心，这座大桥预料将吸引更多游客与国内外投资前来柔佛州，更有效刺激与加强州内的经济发展，惠及人民。
