Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting an esteemed delegation from Tsinghua University School of Social Sciences for an exclusive masterclass in Kuala Lumpur and it was nothing short of remarkable.✨
The delegation was led by Professor Zhao Kejin (Department of International Relations), accompanied by Professor Sun Xiulin, Vice Dean of the Department of Sociology; Director Zhang Lei from the Center for Professional Degree Education; and Li BingXuan, PhD Candidate of the Class of 2025 from the Department of International Relations.
In a world defined by geopolitical shifts and economic volatility, Professor Zhao brought clarity to complexity. From decoding international turbulence to identifying the strategic pathways that lie within uncertainty, his insights were both timely and deeply actionable.
One line from Professor Zhao stayed with everyone in the room:
💬 "Where the people are, the money will follow."
A deceptively simple truth yet one that reframes how we think about capital flows, emerging markets, and long-term wealth positioning in an increasingly multipolar world.
Beyond the keynote, the Q&A session was equally compelling. Every question raised by our participants was met with thoughtful, considered answers a testament to Professor Zhao's depth of expertise and his genuine engagement with the audience.
For those who attended, thank you for your curiosity and participation. These are exactly the conversations that matter.
For those who missed it, this won't be the last opportunity. Tsinghua University's Master of International Affairs – Global Governance (MIA-GG) programme continues to open doors for professionals seeking to lead with global perspective.
